CLOSE-UP was founded by Katja and Babs - aka Kate and Jane - but has since become a whole CLOSE-UP family. And we are very grateful for that!

Never thought it would go so fast. The idea of ​​starting a clothing store for women simply came out of the blue during a pleasant dinner. What was then dismissed as a 'totally flipped idea' seemed to become a reality a year later, after much work on the figures, bank visits, nocturnal paintings, and so on.

On 8 September 2007 the very first CLOSE-UP opened in Sint-Denijs-Westrem (Ghent). A milestone ... a business of its own! Whoot !!!

In 2016, Katja looked for a new challenge and the stores came under the full supervision of Babs, her husband Koen and her sister Pascale.

Now, 12 years later, there are 4 CLOSE-UP stores and a fantastic loyal clientele of ladies and girls who regularly jump into one of those stores looking for something new for their wardrobe. It is with them and you in mind that we go abroad every week, hunting for the latest fashion trends. In this way, there are new items of clothing in the store every week!

And that's not all ... at the request of many ladies who live too far from the CLOSE-UP stores, or who like to shop 24/7, there is also the WEBSHOP.
